The Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS) Certification is one of the world’s most prestigious professional qualifications in wine and beverage service. It is designed to develop and assess the expertise of hospitality professionals in wine knowledge, tasting, and table service.

Program Goals

Who should attend
You are recommended to have at least 1 year work experience in Wine sales or Wine service in Hotel, Restaurant or Bar.
You should come with an appropriate level of wine knowledge but not essential. This course is particularly good for
those who are working in Wine Distribution and Sales, Wine Shops and Wine Division in Supermarkets. Professionals who
are teaching in The Hospitality and Food & Beverage Institutions will also benefit by learning the methods and styles of
how the Masters conduct their training and tasting.

Program :
Day 1 : 08.00 - 18.00 Master in Class
Day 2 : 08.00 - 18.00 Master in Class
Day 3 : 08.00 Introductory Sommelier Exam
09.30 Certified Sommelier Exam
17.00 Presentation of Certificates

Masters will conduct 2 full days intensive course which covers:
• Viticulture, Vinification, Wine regulations
• Wines of the World (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal,
Austria, Australia, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina etc.)
• Sparkling wine and beverage service, mise-en-place
• Tasting techniques, customer care and sales

Program Outcome

Certification for Introductory level and Certified Sommelier level
